Continuing the tribute to the Warner Bros. stars, Chuck Jones helped to create “The Stars of Termite Terrace II" exclusively for Great American Ink. Chuck Jones was involved with the conception, development and scene selection of this portfolio that includes Porky Pig, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, Taz and Yosemite Sam. Noel Blanc, son of legendary voice artist Mel Blanc, signed these limited edition hand-painted cels. The edition size for each cel is 100 and is priced at $850 framed; you can also purchase the entire portfolio for $5,100.
Termite Terrace
The building used by the Looney Tunes animation unit from 1935 to 1937, known as “Termite Terrace,” was located in an old, dilapidated wooden structure on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, California. The animators joked that they could "hear the termites eating the building," hence the nickname, “Termite Terrace."
