The legendary Warner Bros. animator and director Chuck Jones, as a tribute to his most beloved characters, created the Termite Terrace I portfolio exclusively for Great American Ink. This was one of the last limited edition portfolios Chuck Jones created.
Months of research went into capturing the quintessential scene for each character to make this eight-piece collection. There are only 200 portfolios available and each hand-painted cel is signed by Chuck Jones. The complete eight piece portfolio can be purchased for $7,800, or individualy for $975.00.
Termite Terrace
The building used by the Looney Tunes animation unit from 1935 to 1937, known as “Termite Terrace,” was located in an old, dilapidated wooden structure on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, California. The animators joked that they could "hear the termites eating the building," hence the nickname, “Termite Terrace."
