Super Rabbit
An exclusive Great American Ink limited edition giclee on canvas.
“Look, up there in the sky! It’s a bird; it’s a dive-bomber; it’s Bugs Bunny, the ’Super Rabbit,’ the rabbit of tomorrow!”
“Super Rabbit,” 1943, directed by Chuck Jones, is a spoof of the Superman character and popular Paramount Superman animated cartoons. The cartoon ends with Bugs emerging as “a real Superman,” a U.S. Marine.
Flattered that Bugs Bunny decides to become a marine in this film, the U.S. Marine Corps decided to officially induct Bugs into the Corp as a private, complete with dog tags. Bugs was regularly promoted until he was officially discharged at the end of World War II as a Master Sergeant.
Edition size 150; retail $895.00; 26" X 32" framed.
