Walt Disney's animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered December 21, 1937 at the Carthay Circle Theatre, followed by a nationwide release on February 4th, 1938. Disney's risky venture was a critical and commercial success, earning $8 million during its initial release. In 1989 the United States Library of Congress deemed the film “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant,” selecting it for preservation in the National Film Registry. The American Film Institute named Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs the greatest American animated film of all time in 2008, adding it to the Institute's list of 100 Greatest American Films.
Great American Ink is celebrating this milestone by offering special pricing on our Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs Collection from Disney's materpiece through the month of December.
